Very bad rust issues to van! Water comes inside van under kids feet when raining!!!! Very rusty interior and rust is seeping through carpets. The doors are rusted so bad on the bottom that the van has holes in the doors from rust with pieces of rust falling off in the driveway occasionally. Ford dealer said the rims are so rusted out that they need replaced because they are ruining the tires-I constantly need to put air in the tires due to this rust issue! This van is only 10 years old!!!!!!! Not twenty!!!!!!

The bottom area of the van is rusting thru by wheel wells & the passenger doors. Took it to local body shop in summer of 2012. They fixed it & looked okay. But 1 year later, it's back. Disappointing to watch my van turn to a cancer van before my eyes!

For the past 3 years we have been seeing the paint pop off in spots (3 different auto repair companies) have said it's because of the poor paint on the Ford cars and eventually they all will do that (especially the 2005) and the hood bubbled and if sanded, it will go right through the metal and the whole hood needs to be replaced. Rocker panels need to be cut out. Can't even tell you how disappointed we are and we feel FMC should pay some of these repairs. Now we have 90,000 on the car, which, except for those places looks like new. We wax and wash our car regularly.
