: the contact stated while driving in rainy weather conditions at 55 mph, the windshield wipers malfunctioned. The wipers permanently stopped working. The vehicle was taken to the local dealership for inspection. The dealer determined the windshield wiper motor was defective. Updated 2/24/2006 - the consumer noticed that there was no grease in the bearing fittings.
