Takata recall it's been more than two years since the recall was issued. With a recall for something causing explosions in passenger faces remaining unresolved, this is absolutely not resolved a timely manner! I am not writing about some other incident involving the subject of the recall, but about the recall itself remaining unresolved. Do we have any other recourse? not driving a vehicle for above two years is extremely unacceptable, as is a known risk of explosion!

Car has unsolved takata recall on the passenger side. When I called a few dealerships in the area and Ford's corporate customer service about a loaner vehicle that they said they would offer for free (Ford said they would pay up to $44/day), I called and talked over the phone for a couple of hours or more. All the dealers said was, "you are about 70 on the waiting list", and fomoco said, "ask the passenger to sit in the back seat instead."
