CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Fusion doesn’t have the same track record of power steering failure as the previous 3 model years. Of course, those owners said their steering failed at 60k–100k miles. So this appears to be a classic "wait and see" scenario.

In the meantime, there’s plenty of interior accessory problems to complain about. By themselves, each is a barely a blip on the radar. But combined, they give you that feeling of what the hell have I gotten myself into?

Car died. Had to jump it to get it to dealer. They kept it overnight and they replaced the battery. A month later car died again. Jumped it and drove it to the dealer. Was told that it needed a needed alternator. They ordered one. They got it the next day but it was damaged in shipping. They ordered another one came in the next day and they replaced the alternator and replace the battery again. What was good is that they gave me a rental car both times. My warranty is up in November and was contemplating getting the ESP from Ford. Need comments on the ESP if anyone has it!
