The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brakes failed to stop the vehicle in a reasonable time. The contact's wife continued driving and noticed that the brake pedal went to the floorboard when depressed. The contact inspected the vehicle and noticed that brake fluid was spraying onto the ground while his wife was depressing the brake pedal. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and diagnosed that the front driver-??s side brake line had ruptured and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer awaiting the brake line to arrive. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 95,000.
