Takata recall 17S01. Passenger front airbag inflator could rupture if this vehicle is involved in a crash. Waiting for months for a remedy. Dealer admitted, levittown Ford in NY, that only southern states are getting the parts for this repair as of now, and that I will be notified. Ford states that it is safe to drive yet there is contradictory and inconsistent statements and evidence that supports a danger to the front passenger side. If the parts are available in southern states, there is no evidence that supports that northern states are less at risk of injury from a rupturing defective airbag. I am furious that I cannot put a front passenger in the car, with good conscience, that there could be a serious injury caused by this defect. Please look into the misleading recall status, "recall incomplete, remedy not yet available." Catching Ford in a lie will not lead to a good outcome for them should my car not get fixed soon.

Takata inflators the existing recall on the passenger airbag of July 2016 indicates that it is not safe for a person to ride in the front passenger seat. I just received a notice that it is hoped that there will be a fix for this defect in 2018. Because the back seats of this model of Mustang have limited space for legs, my vehicle is now limited to accommodating the driver only. This car was not purchased as a commuter vehicle and it appears that I will be looking at about two years where I can't use it. This seems like and extremely long fine to address this problem. Is there any other options for getting this fixed or replaced?
No passenger front seat air bag replacement is available for this 2007 Ford Mustang GT. I am concerned because of the age of the car (11 years ) and that it has continuously been kept in a hot and humid climate -ocean city, md. It meets all 3 criteria for priority replacement. As of 1/15/2018 no replacement is available. I received a letter telling me not to use the front seat for passengers.
Takata recall: I'm not able to Transport any individual in the front seat of my car and that is an inconvenience. I think this has been an issue for almost 2 years.
"takata recall" I have had my Mustang to the Ford dealer 2 times now to deal with the air bag recall. They didnt complete the work. They only did 1/2 the job and said they would call me when they received the rest of the parts needed to complete the repair. Now I understand there is no remedy. This has been going on for over 1 year and I need to use my car. Cant sell it because it has an active recall. What am I to do" drive a dangerous car and possibly hurt my grandkids" I want a resolution, either disconnect the air bag or replace it.
Takata recall - my safety recall notice 16S26 / NHTSA recall 16V-384 for 2 years, I have been trying to get this inflator recall resolved with Ford. I have been told multiple times parts are not yet available. I understand this is a very large recall, but 2 years is unreasonable and I need this repaired as soon as possible
Takata recall: I have been waiting for the replacement airbags to be available for the passenger side of the vehicle. It has been almost one year that this has been happening. I am filing this formal complaint per the instructions of the recall. How can we get the replacement airbags to eliminate the dangers takata has subjected many of us to?

Takata recall: Received a airbag recall notice 16S26 from Ford. Warning to not allow anyone to ride in passenger seat! totally ridiculous! my wife can't drive(handicapped) and I have kids that need rides. There is little to no room in back seat. Ford needs to immediately get the parts to fix this! what is taking so long? I have the letter if further information is required.

They keep saying that they do not have parts to do the replacement and that I should wait. I feel very unsafe with this airbag and it seems like Ford is not addressing this issue appropriately.
