When I sit in the passenger seat, the airbag light often goes off while my husband is driving. It is supposed to be a safety feature to keep children & car seats from being in the front seat and having a airbag deploy. I am 5'6 and 115 pounds, sometimes the airbag is on other times I have to sit my 20 pound purse in my lap to make it stay on or push my feet into the floor. A friend of mine had the same problem she is about the same size. The thought of having my face eat the dashboard is scary. Has any one else had this problem. I think the same problem is in my Honda, however after reading it could be anything!
