Was warned of customer service initiative stating "Car may enter limp mode due to faulty throttle body". Quickly, ordered part through Sawgrass Ford and dropped car off for a day for covered service. Months later I went into limp mode on I95 at 60 miles per hour with no shoulder to pull off. Very dangerous situation.

I contacted Sawgrass Ford. They had record of "ordering throttle body" but "not replacing part"!!! I was told part was no longer covered because "customer service initiative was expired". Was quoted $800 to fix.

I ordered part online for $50 and replaced myself in 15 minutes. I will never ever go to Sawgrass Ford for anything again.

Car in normal driving conditions, then suddenly loses power and throttle has no effect. Flashing wrench light comes on and car is clearly in limp mode. I turn off the car and restart and everything is normal again. This happened twice in about 1 month, then today it happened again, but this time restarting only fixed the issue for a minute or so. Finally was able to nurse the car home by driving very softly and using minimal throttle with very gentle movement. At home I pulled code P2111 "Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Open"
