2020 Mustang ecoboost. Purchased new from Tedd Britt dealer in Virginia in June 2021, really happy with the car until the transmission starting acting up. Shifted the car from D to S while stopped, when I accelerated the car, rpms revved up too high and felt like the transmission was slipping in the lowers gears because it was slow at first then it took off and accelerated hard in higher gears once the turbo kicked in, scary, good thing there were no other cars in front of me, otherwise this problem may cause a crash. I have driven the car in S mode other times and it doesn't happen all the time only sporadically.

Mentioned this problem to the mechanics at All American Ford dealer in Old Bridge NJ when I went there to get an oil change but they proceeded to put the car in gear and accelerated in the parking lot saying there's nothing wrong because it didn't happen to them. I guess they don't have diagnostic tools to test the transmission, electronics and programming, considering this car even has electronic steering. I hope Ford will address this 10R80 transmission, considering it's being used in vehicles up to the GT500.

Currently complaining about what 2011-2019 mustang owners filed a class action lawsuit over. Took the car back to the dealer but they told me that they were “unable to replicate/experience the issue” and explained to me that it was operator error. The violent shifting from 3rd into 4th gear shouldn’t feel like you were rear-ended by a tractor trailer while at a dead stop.

How can I sign on to the currently class action suit? I’m currently experiencing and have been dealing with the exact same thing in my 10 month old 2020 mustang gt performance pack level 1 that everyone else has, without the ability to prove it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
