2016 Ford Transit connect. Consumer writes in regards to panoramic roof safety recall. The consumer stated that she was unable to get into contact with anyone to have the repairs completed.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Transit connect. While driving approximately 60 mph, the moon roof became detached from the frame and flew off the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to midway Ford (8155 w flagler street, miami, fl 33144), but they could not determine the cause of the failure. The dealer stated that the vehicle warranty expired at 35,00 miles. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
