Acadia LX 3.2L V6

Brakes usuall last 60,000 miles or so, these didn't last half that. Suspect the brakes were dragging because milage was never as advertised (about 6-8 miles per gallon of gas low). vehicle was only serviced at dealer where purchased and maintenance was done as recommended. Including alledgedly inspecting brakes. Right from the beginning I complained about the milage and the service department came up with a lot of excuses, but no answers. I am a conservative driver and do not ride the brakes. I have never had this problem with any other vehicle I have owned.
