Fuel gage system is not showing how much gas is in the tank. The fuel level sensor has failed 3 times. The tank has been filled and needle show either empty of 3/4 full. The fuel level code PO464. It was returned back to dealer on 6/13/2016 and problem still continues after said problem was fix with silicon in connection. (water damage) how ever with end 10 miles needle all over the place " got home and turn the car off and on to cycle and needed reads empty after a full take of gas."

I was driving home from work around 5:05pm on the 5 North freeway going about 65 mph. All of a sudden my check engine light went on and I felt a sudden loss of power in my acceleration. As I stepped on the gas more to keep up with the flow of traffic, the RPM needle jumped up to between 4 and 6 on my gauge, but my vehicle wasn't going any faster so I had to steer to the right to get to the exit. I was barely able to exit without almost getting rear ended but I had no choice as my vehicle would not go over 40mph. After getting it checked at the nearest shop, I was told that it was a stuck solenoid. After I got that fixed, 4 months later, same problem, but now the dealership is telling me they will have to rebuild my transmission due to a broken wave plate, which will cost me at least $2800, which I don't have.

No recall for defective transmissions? bought 2007 acadiar used, 2600 miles /felt transmission problems early on. Very noticeable jerk at 40mph. In and out of dealership since. Last few months car has been in to dealer frequently re car bucking at stop lights really rough thought engine going to die. Every time nothing showed in codes, emergency trip to doctor/heavy traffic main artery/can't get over 20mph/engine screaming/ make it to dr. (omg) towed to dealership. Transmission gone. I could have had a serious accident. Finally heard something about a wave plate. For 5 yrs I've said something wrong. No one said these were constant problems with Acadias. They issued recalls for a leak in the sun roof. No recall for defective transmissions" known defective wave plates" I have extended warranty, but many don't. warranty or not, this safety hazard should be fixed by GMC at their expense. A recall is mandated. Just ask the owners...
