This is the 5th time the same Driver Side Headlight has gone out. I have only had the car for 1.5 years and having to replace the Driver Side Headlight 5 times is ridiculous. The Deal told me it is not covered under any Warranty. The first 3 times I was charged by the Dealer $145 each time. The Passenger Side Headlight has yet to have an issue, it is just the Driver side.

We purchased the car in February of 2018. In May we were pulled over for the headlight being out - we replaced it the next morning. Here we are 7 months later and the same headlight is out again! I have no clue as to why it keeps going out. I have not had to replace the driver side once but this is the 2nd time of having to replace the passenger side in less than a year!

I got my GMC Acadia used a couple weeks ago, it was very well taken care of. After driving it around for a couple days we notice the driver side low-beam headlight is out, I thought it would be an easy fix as I always change the lights on my other 2 GM vehicles. Checking the lightbulb itself it worked perfectly fine, non the less I switched it out, I had extra bulbs laying around from my GMC Sierra, upon further inspection the wiring itself was tangled in a ball and it was burnt, as i grabbed the wire itself crumbled in my hand. I refuse to go to the dealer as they will charge over $500, which i find to be ridiculous as GMC is in fault here.

I went on over to the passengers side to check out that headlight, I removed it and turned the light on and with the bulb not even being on for more than 15 seconds and it was extremely hot, the plastic under the light had began to smell as it was burning.I quickly turned off the lights and put everything back. This issue is extremely dangerous, I'm surprised the headlights haven't caught on fire. I refuse to let anyone drive this car for that reason. GMC needs to get their things together and have a solution for this issue.
