The fuel gauge is sending incorrect reading after fill up, the low fuel warning lamp is coming on after fill up. Dealer tells me this is extremely common for this truck and that I should consider it routine maintenance doesn't seem right for only 70000 miles.
Gas gauge not responding correctly giving incorrect reading. Gauge is sporadic mostly when tank is full, have some concern that electrical fire may occur due to electrical spark in fuel tank. I believe a recall should be done to correct this matter.
Gas gauge on 2000 GMC K1500 pick up truck working erratic. Sometimes gauge goes to empty and then a check engine light goes on. I understand that a lot of people with these trucks are having the same problem. GMC needs to have a recall thanks.
