I recently had some transmission work done and the battery was disconnect for a period of time. When I got my truck back I noticed that the dual climate control was not working properly! It blew cold air on the drivers side but regardless of the passenger temp gauge it was burning hot! So hot that I had to leave the a/c off in 34 degree weather. I phoned the transmission shop to see if anything was disconnected to repair the tranny? Frustrated that nothing had to be removed from the heat and ac to repair the tranny I had to do some research! It turns out you have to reset the BCM computer if the battery is disconnected for any period of time! So before you spend which could be potentially alot of money trying to find the problem here is the solution!
