I also have a 2007 GMC 1500 Sierra crew cab 5.3lt (Professional Grade). My oil use started a year ago and it was just a hassle to start with. My mechanic changed the PCV which was part of the valve cover. Some engineer is still laughing about that design. My mechanic found the oil was spitting out the dip stick can't figure out why. Maybe you guys have an idea?? I just went on a hunting trip for 100 miles and checked all fluids before I left. I was going to head back and low oil light came on checked and no oil on the dip stick. Sign me up for that Class Action.
