Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have an engine running hot or overheating with no coolant leaks found. Technician will need to check for hydrocarbons in the cooling system, operation of the thermostat, the water pump impeller for any sign of concern, and inspect the coolant manifold assembly and issues. Technician will need to replace the coolant manifold assembly if the concern cannot be isolated.
