The contact stated while driving 65 MPH, there was a slight wobble and then an impact was felt when the rear passenger-€™s side tire tread separated and damaged the rear fender and bumper. The contact pulled over and had assistance replacing the rear passenger-€™s side tire with the spare tire. The dealer was made aware of the failure and was in possession of the failed tire. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

The contact stated that the tires failed to hold the tire pressure. The vehicle was taken to scenic Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac (2300 rockford St, mt airy, nc 27030) where the vehicle was purchased. The technician added nitrogen gas into the tires however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that a letter was sent to the manufacturer however, there was no response. The failure mileage was 2,976.
