The oil pump whines from a pulsation of oil going through the pump. not sure if this vibration or harmonic is what I am feeling in the foot peddle or not but it definitely makes a loud whining noise when it is idling and you are outside the vehicle.

Update from Oct 31, 2016: forgot to mention the oil pump whine dealer pip is 4898b.
