While driving 2004 Honda Accord-not a hybrid, smelled odor of something burning, car seat warmer was set low, turned off warmer, smell disappeared, but seat continued warm. On 2/22 & 2/23 while seat warmer switch off car seat heated. 2/23 brought car to Honda had warmer disconnected. Co-workers know of similar incidents different car makes that have caused burns to occupants or electical fires, is there a defect in these devices or trend of similar reports.
