Going over bumps in the road, I hear loud clunking sounds coming from the rear suspension. The Honda mechanic told me it was the spare tire and tools bouncing in the trunk. That is definitely not the reason. It is so annoying.

The loud thump sounds like the tire is bottoming out and hitting the rim when I go over bumps in the road, or going over railroad tracks. Also, on the down side of a speed bump it's a really loud double thumping noise...

anybody have any ideas?
