I have already (one year ago) replaced the driver's door actuator. I feel this is a defect in this Civic model. Very expensive to fix and Honda not sympathetic to problem even though they have proof that this part was replaced before. Now back passenger doors no longer lock as well as the drivers door. Worse car I ever owned!

Civic LX 1.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 55,000 miles

This 07 Civic has had a few issues, all after about 50k miles. The visor of course, the rear end wearing out tires, the cruise control button doesn't stay on, the drivers side coat hook doesn't stay up and now the drivers side door actuator lock works only intermittantly. The only thing that hasn't happened, is the engine hasn't cracked...yet.
