After paying for this car over a 5-yr. period in June 2012, the airbag system failed due to a passenger seat sensor failure. Estimate to fix is $1000 (remove seat, remove sensor - take seat apart, install sensor, rebuild and re-install seat!).
In 2013, at 67,800 kms. approx., the dealership now quotes $550 to replace the clutch master cylinder. Also last year, the rear brakes were estimated at $600 to fix at the dealership due to wear. We opted to fix at a truck repair centre in downtown Toronto - honest and great prices, good workmanship.
For such a low mileage car, this is turning out to be lemon yellow vs. Galaxy Grey. I've owned a Honda 1991 Accord perviously with 200,000 km with a lot less problems. This car was great.
The newer Honda Civic 2007 LX is a car I would never recommend anyone to buy, and my satisfaction with Honda quality is now in the cellar. Our next family car (my wife has a low mileage 2006 Accord) will NOT be a Honda.
