The electrical short burned the connection and melted part of the fuel pump container. If the gas tank was full, it could have blown the car. This is very dangerous and Honda needs to fix this problem.
I changed the fuel pump for $300+, Honda would not sell the connector but is selling the whole electrical harness for $400+. This problem needs to be recalled.
