the short in the ignition with never went away or was acknowledged by dealer. The ignition had to be replace in January of 2014, that switch was bad and the repair shop had to get another. I think the part must be faulty.
I would like to report a major issue (or rather mystery) with my Honda Car.
Honda Civic 1.8 from 2009 refuses to start after a 3 weeks' holiday (car was parked outside but weather conditions were normal and car is only 6 years old). Engine, fuel pomp, battery etc. are fine. Garage carried out a lot of tests. So far no cause has been found for the starting issues. Honda Europe has been involved now ... Hope you guys can give some advice here ...
