Check engine light came on and car started "jerking" and acceleration was poor. Had to have car towed to Firestone (Geico only tows me 10 miles for free) Firestone had to diagnose the check engine light and replace spark plugs, battery and coils. Total charge...$1,200, needless to say I had to leave my car there for a week before I could come up with the money to fix.
Since July 1st, the check engine light came on 3 more times with the same exact problem and had to be towed each time. Firestone replaced the parts a total of 4 times at no charge, they recommend I take it to Honda if it happens again.
I've called Honda Customer Service 2 times and they said there are no recalls on my car and I am OUT of warranty as of April, I have a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty (I only have 54,000 miles on it).
I am very frustrated and afraid to drive anywhere because it will break down! Has anyone else had this problem?
