I can hear the pump but can't find it. I think it might be under the front right wing. The Dealer wants £100 to fix it.

I have to say that I've owned many Honda products but this 2016 Touring has got to be the worst Honda that I've owned. Since this is a forum for the windshield intermittent problem this is what I will talk about as I have had many issues with this car. I have brought my car in 4 times and they have replaced every possible part that operates the sensing on the windshield wipers and still it doesn't work. As a matter of fact its worse now than before. There has to be a defect in this product that they can't find but it's driving me crazy.

I have read many complaints on this issue so I'm sure Honda is well aware of it. Honda needs to get off their asses and get this fixed before someone gets into an accident. I will think twice before purchasing another Honda product after this. I do have to say the Honda dealership in Welland is doing their best to keep me happy.

After replacing the "rain sensing wiper" parts for the 3rd time, it still doesn't work. Honda Canada has given up and is ignoring my calls. This is how Honda fixes issues when they can't find the problem. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...DO NOT LET HONDA TAKE YOUR MONEY...YOU WILL BE THEIR B*TCH IF YOU DO (have TOTAL control over your issues in which they won't even care). *BUYER BEWARE!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Wiper blade sound is really frustrating. I used it in rain and the wiper blades do not glide smoothly over the windshield. they create a lot of frustrating noice. i literally thought of breaking them.

rain sensing wipers don't work at all

There have been numerous complaints on "CivicX" (Civic Forum) about the "rain sensing wipers" not working at all. There is no time delay at all or basically it works like the "on" (constant swiping) switch/feature. Honda replaced the rain sensor on the windshield to no avail. I brought the car back to Honda service and they quickly gave up on this issue (didn't even want to look at it) and deem it "it's just the characteristics" of the new 2016 Civic. Just to let everyone know that this excuse has been used over and over with other customers with other complaints/ issues when they either can't rectify the problem or when it's just to expensive (losing a considerable amount of profit based on that particular vehicle). This is how the legal team at Honda has advised Honda officials to deal with expensive or repetitive issues. Yes, the new "fix" for Honda's issues is "it's the characteristics of this model" or aka. "it is what it is now f**k off ; discussion over now leave me alone".

Buyer beware of Honda's new tactics. Consider this a disclaimer that Honda won't ever tell you. If this happens to you then you didn't take this warning seriously (bought their product).

automatic rain sensing windshield wipers mode not working

This car is equipped with a rain sensing mode on the windshield wipers intermitant mode that is not working at all. I brought my car to my dealership on 5/3/2016 with other electrical problems and it was not addressed at all at that time, and I was advised to come back at another time.
