A relatively new car, pristine condition and always maintained at honda dealership. Mileage is about 85K and one day the alternator just stopped working. I was on the highway and battery system stopped working as well leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere on cold snowy Canadian weather in the east. I had to sign up and call CAA to tow it away and found out I am out of the basic warranty and damn alternator would cost me around 2300 CAD to replace.
While the payment on the car hasn't been paid off - I am paying such an insane amount for repair. This is beyond any level of frustration. I was so happy with the car so far that I was already saving up for a Honda SUV in a year but no more. I would rather spend the money on an old Toyota rather than spending on an unreliable car. Period. Not happy at all as you can probably understand.
