The TRMS system constantly displays low tire pressure. I correct the tire pressure and reset the TRMS every time but it happens again and again.. The dealer has also reset the TRMS system, and in a few days it indicated that the tire pressure went down again. I have complained to the Honda dealerships and my mechanic. They-??ve not found anything wrong. If the tires are good maybe there-??s something wrong with the wheels. Although I have extensive receipts for all my maintenance and repairs, and I-??ve frequently complained, they seldom indicate my complaints about tire pressure.
the evaporator of the AC system failed at 48k miles. We live in Houston Texas and AC is not a luxury it's a requirement making the vehicle unsafe to drive in the extreme temperatures. Honda knows that this is an issue and has recalled both the condenser and compressor of the AC system to a ten year warranty. We're asking that the evaporator also be added to the recall. The cost of repair of the item is almost 1700 US dollars. It's a terrible situation. As the car is like new but out of manufacturers warranty being left with a ridiculous repair cost on a part that should last for the lifetime of the vehicle. I have a Toyota that is 13 years old and never had any issues with the AC system. Thank you.
Turning the steering wheel requires more force because there-??s resistance. It-??-??s possible to turn the wheel to the left, let go of it and it-??ll stay in that direction instead of rotating back. This causes major issues on the highway and during heavy rain. The slightest adjustment causes overcorrection. It-??s also accompanied by this creaky/clicking noise.

A/C doesn't work. Known defect and recall/warranty for compressor and condenser but honda told me is was the evaporator. Entire a/c system bad and they won't cover the last part of the system under warranty.
Air conditioner continues to fail and break. I am going back to Honda to fix this issue and I will then have my 4th condenser put in this car. I have a baby on the way and my car has been paid off. Now I'll have to sell this car and get something different so I can actually have air conditioning that works. It was replaced 4 months ago and already I need a new condenser. It's a 2018 civic si so not even a old car by any means. Only 73k miles. Honda keeps replacing it with the recalled parts and it just happens over and over again. Shouldn't have to make a appointment every 4 months to fix the same issue over and over.
I have an 2018 Honda Civic, twice now, my AC has stopped working. The first time Honda warrantied the compressor and now 2 years later, I'm having the same issue. I bought a Honda so I wouldn't have to worry about this kind of stuff. I'm going back to the Nissan
I purchased a 2018 Civic that is showing severe paint failure around the mirrors and doors of the vehicle. This is an extremely common manufacturing defect that is documented through formal cases opened with Honda, consumer reports, news reports, and dealership inquiries. Severely flaking paint can cause blind spots and vision problems due to sun reactions to exposed metal, driving distractions as paint chips fly off vehicle, environmental pollution, and damage to critical components through rust and water damage.
Air conditioning not blowing cold air. Took vehicle to Honda dealer. I was told that A/C will need to be recharged with Freon and dye, the cost is $299.95 Once recharged, the A/C will need to be re inspected for further leaks in the A/C system. The A/C compressor seal shaft and the A/C condenser, these two parts, the warranty has been extended by Honda. The A/C evaporator is not covered by Honda warranty. It is a well documented fact that Honda-??s A/C systems on the 2018 Civic has defective components. It appears that the R1234yf refrigerant used in these systems is deteriorating the A/C components. Honda has responded to this situation by extending the warranty on the condenser and compressor seal shaft to 10 years from date of purchase. However, to date they have refused to extend the warranty on the evaporator and other components of the system. Typically, evaporator last the lifetime of a vehicle, or at least 10 to 15 years. It is unfair for Honda to charge $299.95 to inspect a system that is known to be faulty, and to saddle the customer with another $2200 if the evaporator is found to be leaking. The entire A/C system should be covered by the 10 year extended warranty. Because if the system is functioning as it should, there would be no leaks, and therefore no need to recharge with Freon and dye.
Safety hazard for vehicles in the State of Florida. Honda Civic 2016-2018 models defective/failing AC system. Common failing Components include Condenser, Compressor and Evaporator. I paid for a new car and within the first few years of purchase the ac went out due to Honda-??s faulty equipment. Per Dealer recommendation replacing evaporator with expansion valve. $2200 to repair. This is a safety concern and hazard in the State of Florida. Health reasons include being exposed to Floridas heat for long periods of time. And with Florida-??s unpredictable weather conditions and rainfall, when it rains all windows including windshield fogs up which creates the inability to see which effects the driver and surrounding motorists. Honda has acknowledged the issue but only extended its warranty on the Condenser and Compressor. Not the evaporator. Which SpaceCoast Honda has stated they see more commonly the evaporator failing above all else.
When the car gets hot after about 10 mins of driving in spring/summer weather the steering wheel feels like it-??s sticks and the steering gets very tight. I then have to over compensate to stay in my lane and it-??s constant until you stop and allow the car to cool off again.
My A/C does not work. It has blown out warm or hot air since I bought it used in June 2022. Only the passenger side blew out cold air for a few months but now it's completely warm as well.
The AC has failed 3 times on my car. I have had the car since 2017 (73,000 miles) and today marks my 3rd time taking the car in for an AC issue (blowing warm, unable to cool cabin). This has been frustrating since Honda has been known to be reliable. It is very unfortunate that they cannot place a recall on this car due it it lacking a "safety" issue. I live in Southern California and during the summer, I definitely consider not having AC a safety issue. Taking my car to the dealer is inconvenient and takes away from my life. Not only does dealer not have loaner cars until the issue is considered a warranty, but I have to take Personal Time Off so that I can take care of this manufacture problem.
Last July I had to have my AC condenser and compressor replaced due to one side of the air conditioner working. Bad part was i had to pay to have a recall fixed after the fact and now im trying to get American Honda to reimburse me my money. After 1 year the problem came back and now they are saying it's my evaporate coil. Honda is not taking this seriously and expecting people to pay several thousands of dollars to fix an issue that is their problem.
My driver side mirror is very loose and wiggles/shimmys while the car is loving causing me to not be able to use the side view mirror. It-??s not the entire mirror housing, just the reflective glass part. This is a serious safety issue! I have seen the recalls in other Honda models for this very reason but not mine.
Air conditioner condenser needs replaced at 24,000 miles. Mechanic says he has worked on numerous exact models / similar year with same issue. Has there been a recall?
