The contact owns a 2019 Honda Civic. The contact stated that on three separate occasions the rear seat belts malfunctioned. The contact stated that the rear driver-??s side seat belt failed to retract. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that an unknown part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that on separate occasion the rear passenger seat belt failed to retrack back. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that an unknown part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that while driving, he noticed that his child-??s safety seat was tilted to the side unsupported by the seat belt. The contact stated that the seat belt appeared to have been loose and untracked. The contact was concerned for the safety of his children. Additionally, the contact stated that while the brake pedal was depressed, he heard a loud screeching sound located at the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the brake pad had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the a few months later the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed hat the brake pad had failed again and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however the failure recurred. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was denied service and advised to contact the manufacturer. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was provided. The contact was advised to call the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000
