When I first purchased this car my mother said she could not drive with me because the car jerked a lot and it made her car sick. This car always drove jerky, I thought it was because the car is a hybrid and has a battery. Over the years it got worse until around March 2013 the check engine/battery light came on. I took it to the dealer in Florida. They had to order a new battery!! This 10 year warranted battery wasn't even 3 years old.

The car was still jerky after the repair. I expressed my concern to the service writer but nothing could ever be found. As it got worse I kept returning to the dealer with my concern, it was finally discovered that the clutch switch was bad. The dealer tried fusing it or something, I was told to fix it completely it would cost me $3,000 because I was over 70,000 miles. When I first complained about this problem I was well under 70,000 miles. Just because the certified Honda mechanics failed to accurately access the problem doesn't mean I should have to pay to repair a defect that was suppose to have been corrected after recalls from previous years 2001-2004. My service writer contacted the district manager and they would not help me.
