I was following the car in front of me when he/she needed to make a right turn into a business area. I slowed down at a safe distance to allow the car in front make its turn and the automatic braking system stopped me suddenly, I tried to press the gas and nothing happened. Because the car stopped so suddenly the car behind slammed into me. This accident was preventable by me if the car would of let me react. The problem is that the car behind me seen that I slowed and the car in front was now clear so there would of been no reason why I should make a sudden stop. The car overreacted on my behalf.
