Twice in the past month my Clarity was fully charged but I was not able to get it to run in the EV mode. I had pressed the ECO button. But at every stop light my Clarity set there sounding like it was going to explode because of the very high revving gas engine. I finally turned the car off and restarted it. Which seemed to reset things correctly and I was then able to drive in the EV mode.
