I am not sure if the glass used on the windshield is made of a poorer quality, but the windshield scratches very easily and I find that if it keeps up, I may have to replace this windshield in about a year or 2. I live in Canada, so we have to scrape the windows in the winter. I have had many vehicles and have never had scratches happen so easily as on this windshield. I noticed scratches occurring from the day I bought the car in the summer. I couldn't figure out what would be causing this as I was only washing my window with my wipers or a squeegee at the time. Then with winter more appeared with the ice scraper. I thought perhaps it was my ice scraper so I changed it with my husband's. He has a Nissan Versa Note and his scraper was not damaging his window. However, even with his scraper more scratches were appearing. When looking through the window, the scratches are not very visible, however, when you have the sun full on the windshield, they are quite visible and it affects the visibility. My car is not quite a year old
