The automatic lock on the driver side sliding door fails to automatically unlock. The only way to unlock that door now is to awkwardly reach behind the driver's door. It feels unsafe because in the event of an emergency it could take extra time to unlock and open that rear door to assist children in the back of the vehicle. I bought this vehicle new about 3 and 1/2 years ago and have performed all scheduled maintenance. A local Honda dealer inspected the vehicle and determined that there was corrosion in the fusebox/harness and that it would need to be replaced. The quote for parts/labor was more than $5000. It's unknown if other electrical failures will appear at a later date. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. The problem first appeared about a month ago.
