Car steering worked fine untill winter/cold hit. Hard to steer in one direction or the other. Can happen to either left or right turning. Search up to see that the torque sensor on the power steering could be the problem. Read that most worse in cold/winter. Today was warmer & guess what, power steering was back but not fully. Read that the cold/winter can trigger the sensor. Either take it apart to clean or replace could fix the issue. But seems like warmer weather could also as well. I don't plan driving it through winter so will wait till spring come to see if it's back with out replacing the torque sensor.
