I just had a messaging conversation with Microsoft Bing to get the proper words to describe the poor service I received from Max Hyundai after my car developed serious problems after they did a simple oil change and tire rotation:

Me: other name for unbelievably bad, poor service from local dealership on a vehicle recall

Bing: I'm sorry to hear that. Can you please clarify what you mean by very bad? Are you looking for a synonym for poor service from a dealership on a vehicle recall?

Me: Yes, that's what I'm looking for.

Bing: Some synonyms for poor service from a dealership on a vehicle recall include inadequate service, unsatisfactory service and "substandard service." If you have experienced poor service from a dealership on a vehicle recall, you can contact the manufacturer to make amends immediately. Your local dealership is the first point of contact during a recall, as most manufacturers will administer a recall through the service departments at their dealerships, as they are well equipped to repair or replace their own vehicles.

Me: I didn't have a problem with vehicle shaking and no tire problems until I brought them for oil change and tire rotation. When I got the car back it was shaking at med and high speeds. Before I got it back to them, I received a recall on car for brakes and tires. After they looked at the car again, they told me I needed new front brakes, rear brakes, ball bearings and all four new tires to say the least. the repairs would cost over $5000. All this from an initial oil change and tire rotation. I told them about my brakes squeaking when backing up before I knew of recall, but forgot to mention first time, so on second visit they looked. He said the recall had nothing to do with them, me, or my vehicle and that no one would help with my problems. I'm confused. I was in shock at first when he talked to me like that. They did something and took advantage of me. So, therefore I wanted to use proper terminology for a complaint against them.

Bing: I'm sorry to hear that you had a horrific experience with your dealership. It sounds like you experienced issues with your vehicle after an oil change and tire rotation, and then received a recall notice for your brakes and tires. When you brought your vehicle back to the dealership, they told you that you needed new front brakes, rear brakes, ball bearings, and all four new tires, which would cost over $5000. You feel that they took advantage of you, and you want to use proper terminology for a complaint against them.

If you feel that you have been taken advantage of by a dealership, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The BBB is a non-profit organization that helps consumers find businesses they can trust, and the NHTSA is a government agency that is responsible for vehicle safety. You can also contact your state's attorney generals office or consumer protection agency to file a complaint.

Me: u r awesome. Thank you so much for all Ur information and all Ur help u have given to me. It is greatly appreciated. Is there a way to get a copy of this messaging's.

I was told no, but I copied most of our conversation. Even before I picked up my vehicle from the oil change, I asked them on the phone if everything else was good like fluids and tires. They told me right then my tires were fine. After getting the car back, it was shaking at med and higher speeds. I brought my car back to them to fix the shake because it wasn't there prior to them working with car. At that time, I asked them to install some new windshield wipers blades and check a noise I kept hearing when backing down driveway and applying slight brakes that I had forgotten to talk about initially.

The hours went on forever that day as they were working on the car. People were coming and going with their cars but not me. But, when they did come talk to me, they gave me a list of problems that just started coming out of nowhere. If these problems were so bad now, how could they not have been there when the oil change was happening? It just doesn't make sense.

My car didn't get fixed, but I did get my new blades installed and they investigated the squeaking noise and said they didn't hear anything. They were going to charge me $150 for a diagnostic check that I didn't even ask for. They lowered my bill to $118. This is what I was told I needed now, just a few days after my oil change and rotation in a car that had no prior shaking: Brake rotor replacement - front rotors with BG brake kit, may need pads; Brake rotor replacement - rear rotor with BG brake kit, may need pads; Ball joint replacement - lower: both front lower; alignment - 4 wheel recommended with ball joint replacement; mount and balance 4 tires - tire treads are low and worn, outer edge wear/bulging, recommend replacement. Estimated repair is $4981.67

This is the complaint about my shaky car. The shaking has gotten worse and shakes all the time now, not just med, and high speeds. It's starting to feel like it's close to dying sometimes when I slow down and as well when I speed up, it's like the car must stop and take a breath before proceeding or like it hesitates because of something fearful ahead. The car is developing more symptoms. I won't rule out COVID.

Thank you for allowing me to complain, I feel better already. I have one more complaint that I will add to a new complaint ticket. I hope you all have a beautiful blessed day.
