While driving down the interstate, the rear of the vehicle suddenly pulled sideways causing the vehicle to slide sideways. This action caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a concrete pole resulting in severe damage to the vehicle. Occupant was unharmed. Airbags did not deploy. Prior to the event, the vehicle was having no issues.

On October 18, 2019 my fuel pump broke it happened at a plaza parked and then on February 10, 2019 was involved in a car crash due to a ball joint from the front end passenger side. My ball joint broke and everything else detached it happened on the highway I was with my kids and thank god I didn't crash into a car but it was a very scary traumatic moment for all of us. I keep replacing the inner and outer tie rod, also the ball joint and now it makes sense why, it has to do with the control arm. I'm reporting this now because I looked into the safety recalls today and found so many my vehicle falls under these listings and I never received a letter stating the safety recalls to bring my car to the dealership. I have pictures taken when my car broke down, but don't have it available right now I can provide it afterwards and I had my car towed.

The contact owns a 2007 Hyundai Sonata. While driving speeds above 50 mph, the vehicle would shake and felt as if the wheels were not touching the roadway. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and to the dealer (hixson Ford of monroe, 6300 frontage rd, monroe, la 71202, (855) 519-9722) where it was diagnosed that the front driver and passenger tires needed replacement because the tire sizes were incorrect. The contact stated that the tires were replaced with cooper scs ultra touring tires, size:215/55R17 (dot:U93R1cu1817), but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

There have been various problems that were discovered recently mostly based on the rear suspension and shocks. The brake lights have gone out many times and the alignment is frequently incorrect, and so the tires go through a lot of wear. The most recent tires were placed 9 months ago and already have terrible wear from both the suspension and the alignment. Whenever the car is in motion, the car does not drive as smoothly as it should and bounces lightly. There is loud noise whenever driving over speed bumps as if the tire pressure is poor. There is also a grinding noise when the car turns somewhat sharply. Many of these problems have existed for a while but were only diagnosed today at a midas auto in wilmington, nc.

"tanaka recall " this has happened on multiple, intermittent occasions. When decelerating, the steering wheel "sticks" in the straight-ahead position. It becomes very difficult to turn & navigate a highway exit that curves. You have to fight with the wheel and pull hard to make it turn, at which point it feels like the wheel "unlocks" and turns freely again. This is truly a safety concern. I have taken it for service several times, and they did not find anything wrong (now that I see others have had this issue, I plan on scheduling service again). I have had to replace upper control arms on both sides in front due to the squirting sound evertime I go over hole or speed bump and the passenger side is slowly hanging. I too had issues with the ESC and jerking and pulling not long after I purchased the car, but those issues weren't addressed or fixed by the mechanic. (after many trips to the shop & several accidents later) my Hyundai Sonata 2007 needs help.

While driving down the freeway, car pulled to the left. It is still doing it to this day. Had to take the car back to the dealer after the dealer did a brake job at 77000 miles. Had to argue with the dealership to redo the rotors after paying money for a complete brake job. The dealership finally agreed to redo the job after a long argument. I am still having problems with brakes today. When making a right turn, can hear grinding noises. When backing up and coming to a complete stop, can hear grinding noises. I have had this car in for brake service many times. I hear noises from the back and front suspension that has been going on since 2009. After having the dealership change every gasket in the car because of leakage, I have been hearing tapping noises in the car, reported it to Hyundai motor, but they have ignored this. When I called the dealership after they fixed the gaskets, the gaskets leaked again and they said it was not their problem. This car is junk and it needs to be taken off of the road.
