When trying to park, sometimes the shift gear would not go past neutral. A weird fix to this was keeping in drive and driving a bit more, seeing if you could turn around somewhere without reversing ofc, and then attempting it a second time it might work. Its taken up to 6 times to work before. There was one time we went to a flea market and we couldn't drive the car forward so the 3 of us had to push the car backward to try and drive it forward again and then try to push the shift gear into reverse. Mechanic told us there was no fix for it.
