The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. While driving approximately 65 mph with the cruise control activated, the brake pedal was depressed, but failed to deactivate the cruise control and failed to immediately stop the vehicle. The contact managed to control the vehicle until it stopped. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to ed voyles Hyundai (2135 cobb pkwy SE, smyrna, ga 30080, 770-952-8881), but the failure could not be duplicated or diagnosed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000. Updated 10/2/18

The contact owns a 2011 Hyundai Sonata. On several occasions, while driving 70 mph, the cruise control engaged independently and the speed increased to 80 mph. The contact was forced to apply the brake pedal twice before the cruise control disengaged to approximately 75 mph. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified.the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 116,350.
