AN AWFUL fuel SMELL OF GAS THAT CUTS OFF YOUR BREATHING. CALLED HYUNDAI DEALERSHIP IN Montgomery, Al about the problem and was told that there was a recall on one of the pipes and not the other. And the pipe that is leaking gas is the one that is not in the recall. The high-pressure fuel pipe that connects to the fuel pump outlet. There are two hose lines and only one is in the recall. Apparently, both are having leakage problems.

Got car out of shop on 10.01.2016 (got a new engine and it was there for 101 days) Car went BACK into shop on 10.31.2016 because of serious fuel odor in the cabin. SO bad I could not even drive the car. Called to have it towed. They had to call 911 first.... to make sure it was safe to be towed even though no one was going to turn the car on to tow it. After I stood in front of my house waiting for the fire truck with lights on and everything to come and inspect my car... the tow truck came and off to the Hyundai Dealership I have been to too much this year we went. Problem: Fuel Leak Solution: Replaced broken stainless steel fuel line I drove with this gas smell for over 2 weeks. Each day it became worse and worse. Finally I realized it was not the gas that I spilled two weeks prior, there was something wrong.
