The airbag light turned and stayed on. I checked my Sonata in a repair shop and the diagnostic test reads a clock spring resistant too high. It recommended a clock spring replacement. I checked on the internet and found there was a recall for clock spring recall for Sonata 2011-2013, but my Sonata is 2014. Not sure why my 2014 model was missed. Please check if the clock spring in 2014 has the same model as Sonata 2013. If yes, please add Sonata 2014 to the recall list. Dash cracking severely over Airbags...Hyundai refuses to address the problem even though they had a PRIOR RECALL for the Same Issue. The Spiderweb Cracking is severe enough I am concerned my airbags will deploy without warning. Leather in Limited Model Seats Cracks and Disintegrates so badly the Power Motor and Components are exposed and compromised.

My vehicle struck another vehicle straight-on, broadside in a "T-bone" accident at approximately 40 mph on a two-lane, 45 mph roadway on a clear, dry, sunny day with no time to apply my brakes and neither the steering wheel airbag nor the driver's side side air bags deployed. The speed of the other vehicle then caused my vehicle to be dragged across the oncoming lane and up a five foot embankment. Only the passenger's side side air bags deployed on impact. The steering wheel air bag later deployed when my vehicle was being towed. My vehicle is a total loss. The other vehicle's two driver's side doors were pushed in past the frame of the car. The air bag recall for my year allegedly doesn't apply to my VIN.

Air bag light on control module failed for no reason. Cost me $1,141 to have dealer replace control module. I suspect the failure was due to wiring in tensioner recall. After Hyundai tensioner recall in 2017 no accidents.

Lost control of car on minor ice patch on the interstate. When it finally caught traction, it was slung into the side of a semi truck traveling at 75 mph, but the air bags failed to deploy. The driver was injured, the front end was destroyed, and the car was totaled. Can obtain crash report and better photos if needed, just don't have them on me at the moment.

While driving multiple indicator lights on the dash came on, (brake, ABS, tractions control, steering, seat belt, air bag and check engine lights.) T highway speed the transmission shifted into 1st gear and I was forced to exit the road immediately. I safely came to a stop and shut the vehicle off. I then restarted it and then I was able to safely get home. I then called aaa and had the car towed to my mechanic. My mechanic found that they could not communicate with most modules/computers that are in the car. After hours of testing, they discovered that the back up camera was corrupting the computer data lines and essentially shutting down crucial modules in the vehicle. Once the camera was removed from the car, the vehicle operations returned to normal. Please advise Hyundai of this issue, so other motorists can be spared this frightening experience. I will provide the invoice for repair and the failed part, which I have in my possession, if you need. Please contact me for further information.

My vehicle was in motion on a city street and the vehicle that hit my vehicle was also in motion. L will not be supplying any reports such as police reports. I would like to email it along with any other documentation you require. Please advise if this is all right to do and what email address to send it to and if there is a reference number. Thank you.
