engine problem
The vehicle loses power while driving as if it's getting no fuel and this happens for about 5 seconds in some instances the van shuts down. Drove it this morning and went somewhere start the van and moving off unit behaving as if it want to shut off

Air intake clogs with snow if the snow flakes are fine and drifting across the road resulting in a gradual loss of engine power to the point where you will not be able to maintain speed. Crank case vent is downstream of air filter and begins to suck oil into the intake manifold to be burned in the engine resulting in a depletion of oil.
All this with no warning lights which could result in significant damage to the engine. Not to mention the possible dangerous situation you could find yourself in should attempt to pass only to find out the engine is unable to accelerate.

I thought it was just a fluke with my car, then saw others posting the same problem. Going down the highway, the engine starts revving as if car is in neutral, but it is in drive. I took the car back to dealer when this first happened. They drive it and didn't find anything wrong, but has continued over the years.
