The lights above our rear license plate keep falling out of the socket due to the clips breaking. I have been bringing the car into our local Hyundai dealer and they have been very good at replacing the item. The car was purchased in August of 2011 and has been back to the dealer 5 times to replace the part.
The contact owns a 2012 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while driving 75 mph, the head lights failed. The contact was able to reactivate the headlights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection where they advised that the switch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 6,000.
