problem #2

Commander 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 178,000 miles

A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

I have replaced O ring in whole A/C unit. Replaced the condenser, compressor, front end exchange valve, and A/C unit still does not work. We try to charge the system and the A/C fluid starts getting pushing out threw the line. So...??? Not sure what else to try or fix??

No cold air at all. Heat works great but even when i have the heat turned off it seems as though the heat is still coming out the vets and makes my feet really hot.

Commander Limited 4.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,000 miles

I have a "Limited"Jeep Commander and here it is at only 80,000 miles in 9 years, the a/c broke already. The a/c? The driver side is cold while the passenger side is warm or simply air coming out. Went to dealer for A/C service, paid for the recharge $133.00 hoping that the problem is solved but no, told me have to repair the problem with another charge of $1,200.00. too much...

I researched on this defects for Jeep Commanders and there are a lot already. I think this is a "factory" defect workmanship. The manufacturer should do some thing about, repair to customers free of charge.
