Same wacky frustrating (electrical?) problems. Error codes all over the place. Thought transmission was going out. Thought cylinder weren't firing. You name it. Checked with monitor (son in law) and relays were randomly opening and closing, crazy. Thought computer module was shot.Â
FINALLY took it to the shop (money!) and the problem WAS BAD GROUNDING STRAP! Works like new!
Jeep was unusable until I could afford to have it towed to repair shop and diagnosed and repaired. I have SEEN DOZENS of similar complaints of strange electrical/computer/transmission complaints online. I don't think this is a coincidence.
