2015 Jeep Compass 2.4 56,300 miles. I'm the second owner. While driving straight, turning a corner, or making a sharp turn, the vehicle will stall, no acceleration recognized, the brakes LOCK up, the steering wheel cannot turn. This is not good for driving on the highway.
To remedy, I would turn the vehicle off for 10 seconds, sometimes it would crank but not start, or it would start and allow me to go where I need.
When this occurs, the vehicle stalls, jolts, pretty much every bad thing you don't want to happen when you are driving with children.
This was recalled for 2016. Why not 2015?
