My Compass had a clutch failure at 22000 miles. When towed to Milton Ruben in Augusta GA, they said "we are too stupid to drive a manual". My wife has been driving a standard for 15 years now and I have been driving one for 30+. We have not run the Compass hard and do not run our cars hard. We had no warning of the clutch going out and left us stranded. They contacted us after 3 weeks saying that it was our fault ("too stupid to drive"), even though follow up with the clutch manufacture state that there was a recall on the slave cylinder 2 years ago. Bad slave cylinder cause the clutch to burn up, but yet "we are too stupid to drive a manual".
