My significant other got pulled over due to no tail lights which were working the day before and then just didn't work no more. I ran diagnostics on it and came up as TIPM reading low which I was told I need a new TIPM which is out of my budget and too expensive. I even checked the wiring in the back of the lights and there was power and there was also power to the wires up front. All the other lights like the brakes lights, turn signals, head lights and reverse lights all work. Just no tail lights. I would just like to know is the TIPM reading is low could it actually be the TIPM its self do I need to tail lights. But the tail lights are led and are integrated with the brake lights I do believe but there is no fuse for the tail lights only all the other lights, which makes no sense. Which leads me to believe that is it a new TIPM that I need but I cant afford one due top my family's current situation. I would just like some advice on what to do or how this can be fixed without completely empting my family's pockets.
