Compass Sport 2.4L

I bought my 2017 Jeep Compass 2.4L in October of 2017 brand new from a Dodge dealer. 0 miles. Within a month when it started getting cold out, my husband and I went to get something to eat and he said the heat wasn’t blowing warm at all. He had the dealer check it out and they said that the heating core was blocked. He said with what?! Over the phone, the mechanic said it was casting sand left in the block from when the engine was made. They replaced the heating core and I guess flushed out the sand.

My husband wanted the vehicle replaced because he felt the sand floating around the inside of the block could have damaged the water pump but all complaints fell on deaf ears. When my husband went to the dealer to express his concerns the smug guy at the counter said, well, it happens. My husband proceeded to tell him, listen, $27,000 exchanged hands here and no this doesn’t just happen! Well, needless to say, he didn’t get anywhere.

After trying to get ahold of Eddie the salesman for over a week my husband finally got to talk to him.

He said well if you want we could try to get you another car. When he sat down to talk to Eddie he said the vehicle appraised for $18,000. This is within 2 months of purchasing the car for 27,000!!! Yeah, right, Eddie!

Not too happy...
